The metallurgy has been developed in partnership with our foundry partner who is renowned as the world's leading manufacturer of crusher liners.

CMS Cepcor's premium manganese is a solution annealed, water quenched, austenitic manganese steel that has been developed from the original Hadfield’s manganese steel specifications, although our variation can provide unequalled toughness with good resistance to abrasion, which improves as the steel work hardens in operation.

Proven performance

In independent trials in both mining and aggregate production, the CMS Cepcor gyratory premium manganese steel and alloy castings achieve and often exceed, the performance of the equivalent Original Equipment Manufacturer castings, thereby offering an overall cost saving to the operator.

CMS Cepcor works closely with both aggregate and mining primary gyratory crusher operators to re-design mantle and concave segment profiles for site specific applications.
