The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: International Trade 2019

Twice now, CMS Cepcor have received an award from The Queen’s Awards in International trade. This honour is given to the businesses that perform exceptionally across the globe. The Queen’s Awards is an awards programme for British businesses and other organisations who excel at international trade, innovation or sustainable development. They are the highest official UK awards for British businesses.

Sunday Times Profit Track (nomination)

The Sunday Times Profit Track certify British companies with the fastest growing profits over the past three years. They create a network of the UK’s top private companies through their rankings. CMS Cepcor were nominated in the Sunday Times Profit Track, ‘ones to recognise’ category, for 2013.

Sunday Times International Track

The Sunday Times International Track focus specifically on the businesses with the fastest growing international sales. CMS Cepcor were selected in The Sunday Times International Track for 2014.

Goodwin Barsby

Goodwin Barsby was established in 1871 and gained a reputation as a manufacturer of rugged and reliable stone crushing machinery. They received three Queens Awards for Export Achievement in 1966, 1970 and 1973 in recognition of global sales. In 1982 a management buy-out returned the business into private hands. The company was purchased by Boliden-Allis in 1989, and then later acquired by Svedala and then subsequently Metso Minerals® during the Nordberg and Svedala merger in 2001. Goodwin Barsby was again returned to private hands in 2004 after being acquired by CMS Cepcor®. Thousands of classic build Goodwin Barsby are still operating worldwide and discerning owners of Goodwin Barsby equipment will appreciate its rugged and reliable design that provides unrivaled life cost savings against machines of lighter construction.
